Tall Cat Gate is actually a project from the American Source. We do not design these gateways, but we are happy to help anyone with a similar project. The company is based in the greater Boston area and provides quality products and services to thousands of customers nationwide.
The project consists of a wall that is 1.5 feet tall and 1.5 feet wide. The wall is made of 1/4 inch steel and then covered with a 1/4 inch thick polyurethane. It is designed to be water-tight so that the cat can escape if they are attacked.
Now that’s pretty neat. It’s a pet gate, albeit a very small pet and one that was specifically designed for cats. The idea of using cat gates to prevent cats from getting in and out of vehicles is not new. Back in the Dark Ages, cat gates were frequently used by people to keep cats from entering carriages. It was thought that the cats would jump out of the carriage window and escape, but the cat gates actually worked.

Cats have the tendency to climb over things, and jumping a gate might help them. You could also think that cats prefer to jump high enough that they could get out of the carriage window. The cat gate that is currently being used in Deathloop is a water-tight cat gate.
